And now even that is gone...     Sad

I knew something important was going out of my gaming life but I am surprised how sad I was to see the forum actually disappear...

You're not the only one, mate. I've found this very upsetting - particularly the short time between the announcement and actual closure.

Wasn't much time to do anything about it - saved a few threads as documents, then managed to save the entire TOR forum to my computer, had no idea anyone else would make it available.
Used a lot of the week in which I was hoping to prepare for my groups' session to save some of the forum for future use - but managed to do some prep - my group started Of Leaves and Stewed Hobbit tonight - playing it pretty much straight so far, got as far as meeting Shanker.
Great to end the week with a good TOR session - helped scare away the ghosts of the dead Forum....

I agree. I wish they would have announced their intention sooner.

Very sad and disappointing indeed. I had very little time to copy material and only managed a few page. Cheers to Stuart for obtaining a copy of the forum for us to consult and share.

I still have a browser window open to the original forum. It shows Wbweather, Winterwolf, and myself as being on line.
